What’s Your Power Color
The colors we surround ourselves with can have a significant affect on our moods, our emotions, and our experiences of the world.
Sometimes you might need a bold power color to encourage you to take that risk, or sometimes you need a calming color to remind you to breathe.
We spoke with Kristine Fredheim of Soul Life about the power of colors and jewelry in her life:
"For me jewelry is very personal and sentimental. Most of my rings and necklaces are hand-me-downs from my mom and grandmother.
Wearing them makes me feel closer to them, especially my mother who passed away in 2012. I’m a very visual person and I’m drawn to beautiful colors - this also applies for jewelry. I love a pink ruby or a blue topaz. I think of the colors as energies, so for pink it represents being in love and the blue represents deep emotions like the ocean. You will find me wearing lots of pink in general if I’m feeling happy!"
